We continue to feature Uzbek and Turkoman jewelry, along with the addition of some fine examples of Yemeni jewelry. The manufacture of Yemeni silver jewelry was mainly the work of the local Jewish community. During the 1950s, the craftsmen immigrated to Israel, giving pieces like this a real historic importance. We are also offering some very fine Turkoman pieces. The collar, #0116, is one of the finest examples of this rare type that I have ever seen.
